7 key points to check when buying industrial equipment from China

Why is it so important?

Purchasing industrial equipment is a high-stakes and long-term decision for many companies. Therefore, choosing a product based only on the photo and price in the catalog creates a serious risk.

1. Technical specification compliance

• Power, size, output volume, and power requirements should be appropriate for your plant's conditions.
• Actual performance must be confirmed for the product group in which the machine will be used.

2. Manufacturer reliability

• The real production capacity of the factory should be investigated.
• Reference projects and previous export experience should be checked.

3. FAT or video test

A functional test should be required before download. If this test is not mentioned in the contract, it becomes difficult to request it later.

4. Complete list

The list of accessories, spare parts and manuals that come with the main machine should be written separately.

5. Documents

CE, user manual, wiring diagram and technical documents that will be needed for service should be determined in advance.

6. Packaging and shipping

Issues such as how the machine will be packed, whether it is a wooden box or the need for special protection, directly affect the risk of transportation.

7. Post-installation preparation

How the machine will be placed in the field and the start-up plan should be considered before making the purchase decision.
